Introduction
Black Book Services is a leading British web design company, staffed with skilled professionals whose primary brief is to assist individuals and businesses in using the Internet to their maximum benefit.

This may involve presenting a child's artwork to a wide audience, advertising a business's services and products or publishing academic and learned information to the world at large, but whatever the reason, our prime concern is to help our clients by:
  • informing them of the options available and their effectivess and implications
  • ensuring they are clear in exactly what they want, and what they want it to achieve
  • ensuring the solution agreed is cost-effective
  • working with the client throughout the implementation process, using prototyping and presentation
  • offering continuing support once the site is set up, on an as-needed basis, as well as with maintenance and enhancement.

Initially, the company offered web site design and consultancy in an emerging market, and many of our clients were content with simply a 'window to the world' through their web site. However, more recently clients have expressed the desire for a complete package and our range of services has expanded to cover all aspects of preparing a client for using the Internet to achieve their aims, and this includes securing individualised domain names, building a bespoke web site, publishing and ensuring the site can be seen by the browsing public, and providing business cards and stationery to reflect the individual or corporate web image.

Black Book Services is based in Reading, Berkshire, in the UK, and many of our clients - operating over the broadest spectrum of personal and business activities - are based in the Thames Valley, but we have an ever-increasing portfolio of clients based across the length and breadth of England and into Europe, and we are happy to offer a full web site service to clients anywhere in the world.
