 The various services offered by Black Book Services may be purchased individually or in combination, and the costs involved in some of the simpler cases are identified below. Please Contact us if you have any specific requirements that are not covered here, as we will almost certainly be able to help you. (Please note that all figures below may be subject to UK VAT, depending on the arrangements with your country of domicile.)
Domain Names
 e can help you choose a name appropriate to your business or personal interest, and can supply all name types, eg .com, .co.uk, .org, .biz, etc, and register the name using owner details that you provide. Prices vary, but a .co.uk costs £27.50 for two years, while a .com, .org and .net cost £37 for one year. Please enquire for other types and registration periods.
e are also happy to register you with FreeUK free of charge.
 eb Sites
The size, complexity and content of your site naturally affect the cost, but we will build you a one-page 'presence' site for £295, and a four-page site (Home, About Us, Products and Contact, for example) with navigation, pictures and rollovers will cost approximately £575.
e will use your current house style or design one for you as part of the cost, and if you want a 'coming soon' site to whet people's appetites, we will build one for £150. This cost will be deducted from the final figure, once the full site is complete.
Covered by the cost is also publishing and registration with Search Engines, and once the work is finished you will own all parts of and rights to the site. Please contact us to discuss your specific requirements.
Hosting
e will host your 'typical' site (up to 2Mb in file total, standard-level security, FTP and POP3 setup) on our servers for £35 per year if we have built it or £50 if we haven't. For large sites or those with advanced hosting requirements, please enquire.
SE Registration
Registration with Google is free of charge when we build you a site, and we will also register you with a variety of other Search Engines as part of the package. We will also not charge to register you with Yahoo and Ask, but these Search Engines may require a fee.
If you wish to improve your chances of being found by adopting one or other of the special advertising procudures offered by many of the Search Engines, we can advise and assist you in this for a small charge.
Logo Design
Typically when we produce a web site we will incorporate a particular company or personal logo in the design, and if we have produced this for you, you may use it as you see fit free of charge. We are also happy to produce logos and art-work for other reasons than part of a web site design, at very competite rates. Please enquire about our graphic design capabilities and charges.
Stationery
e are often asked to produce business cards in the style of a web site, and if we have produced it, we offer 50 such cards with a glossy finish and in full colour free of charge with every site, with further cards available at £22.50 per 100. We also make available over-size 'maxi-cards' for advertising purposes, derived from the business card, at £20 for five. |
